The benefit is that it shows a potential employer/graduate program where your interests are. Typically, a minor degree has some sort of guideline for achieving it, so you can't just take 1 or 2 classes and say you minored in something. It helps to focus your major degree and lends you credibility along the way.

A minor involves taking less courses in a particular subject than a major does. Not all colleges allow you to take a "minor" course of study. And some jobs just require any bachelor's degree regardless of the major. So while a minor does not prepare you for a given career as well as "majoring" in the subject, it does look good on your resume. If you majored in International Relations, and minored in Spanish, let's say, that would show an employer that you should be more qualified for a particular job than just the solo major would.

Its hard to say without knowing your Major but I would suggest looking into doing MBA (masters in business admin.) MBA is the most common masters degree today and is applicable to almost any field of speciality (engineering, law, arts etc). With your minor in Business, you have a slight advantage over other individuals pursuing or thinking of doing MBA.

Obtaining a degree in Business Administration will allow the graduate to choose from many different fields related to business. Usually these types of degrees are complimented with a concentration, such as accounting, marketing and business management. Having the degree along with a concentration in a specialized field will help the graduate to find a job in many different realms. The graduate can work in public or private accounting, for profit and not for profit businesses and government agencies.

It could be any variety of things. I would recommend that whatever you choose as a minor, that it supplements and/or enhances your major field of study. In other words, if your goal is international business, then a minor in a second language might be beneficial. If your going into human resources management, then a minor in psychology might be good etc.
