What can you do with a degree in music?

People study music for different reasons. They might have the talent or gift or it has been their dream to be famous, etc. So if you get a degree in music, I would go onto a famous show or sing in a restaurant or if you're shy, try singing on YouTube. You can check your comments every week, and they may subscribe to you. Every week you can make a new song and get more famous each day. I hope my advice is good enough.
There is a lot you can get into with a Bachelor of Music degree. Primarily, music education would be the best route for most people. Become an orchestra director at a high school or just give a few lessons. Those who are particularly apt with their instrument can get into music performance. Others simply arrange already popular pieces.
If you're not so interested in direct music, you can teach theory, work in a musical shop, work in a music studio.
My personal recommendation would be to write the scores for '90s-esque teenage dramas (don't forget to fit in as many retardations and appogiaturas as possible ;) )
