It doesn't "hurt" if you're placed under IV sedation (Oral surgeon). If it's "local" anesthesia, then the only thing that hurts is the injection of novacaine. The actual pulling of the molar doesn't hurt.
Its okay to eat, but its best to not eat. and if you eat, make sure you clean your teeth
That depends on how you pulled it (I'm assuming you didn't sterilize anything)and how you've taken care of it since. No, you wouldn't automatically be guaranteed an infection but yes its possible. ~ T
