if you want your dog to gain weight first you need to check with your vet to see how much she/he needs to gain or if they are a perfect weight already.if the vet says they need to gain weight i would use fresh cooked meat or a healthy dry food with lots of nutrients for your dogs well being. thank you.

∙ 15y agoyou can feed a dog chicken and rice to help it bulk up, once in a while give the dog a piece of raw chicken and at times cook chicken and rice add no flavorings and do not fry the chicken just boil it. For a pup you can feed it cottage cheese, hamburger meat, with the dog food you prefer and powdered milk put in blender and give to the pup. The puppy has to be under 2 months of age though.

∙ 14y agoYou should not rush the growth of a dog, especially a bigger breed of dog. It will only grow as large as it was ever going to grow and slow growth is healthier. That being said, higher protein foods will add weight.
