What is the best way to get rid of trapped wind?

The other day I had a bad case of trapped wind I asked by bro how he deals wth it as he is always gettin it he sed lie dwn on ur back get a hot water bottle and keep it on the area where it hurt. While doing this burp and release some of the air u should be feeling a bit better by now just to make sure take a warm bath then u should be okay

you can get medication to help you but few ways that always worked for me where * hot bath (the heat helps to release the wind) * drinking soda water (this can help enduce a burp which should releave) *rubbing (rubbing the stomach or back like you do in an infant has been known to help) if you are uncomfortable then press a hot water bottle when you feel the presure and the heat should help, if you are still in pain within the next couple of days do seek advice from your doctor.

Peppermint tea relaxes your small bowel allowing wind to pass through. It is safe to use during pregnancy. To prevent excess wind, stay away from fried foods and fizzy drinks and dont eat fermenting foods like apples after you have eaten main meals as they will sit on top of digesting food in your gut just creating gas.

Peppermint always works good. Try chewing some peppermint sugarless gum. You can get peppermint water too.

You can actually take tums...the only thing about tums is that you should take 1 tum instead of the recommended 2-4 during the heartburn/gas symptom.
