An office would normally have carpet tiles 50 cm2 so that they can be raised for easy access to the cables underneath. So that engineers can carryout maintenance . Carpet tiles are generally a heavy duty synthetic product , where as Wilton and Axminster carpets are normally 80% wool and 20% nylon.
