What caterpillar is lime green and black?

Well, one time I kept a caterpillar as my pet. It was green and black. It may be a Forest Tent Caterpillar.

You have most likely discribed a tomato horn worm. They get large and will destroy a tomato plant in no time. They are harmless to humans and at the end of summer they become moths.
