when a cats tail is standing up straight, it means they feel prideful. It means the cat is happy or excited and enjoys its life especially if it's up all the time. Cats usually are prideful, and it's good to see a cat's tail is up.
no because it is impossible it's not natural!xxx
THINK. The cat has been sleeping in one position for a while. The cat "stretches" when he stands up. I'll bet you knew that, huh?
Check out this website, read and think carefully on what your cat's problem could be.

What causes cats fur to stand up is it suddenly is scared, or sensing something unnessecary nearby.
Lots of animals stand on their hind legs to get a better view of the world around them. Cats are no exception and enjoy seeing everything there is to see despite their short stature.
So they can walk to get somewhere
to annoy you
They don't; it is physically impossible.
if a cats tail is wagging (like a dog wags its tail when its happy) ten it HATES whatever is happening at that moment (this douse not count if the cats tail is only up but not wagging). so, if a catstail is still, it is calm. basicly, tail shaking, ALERT! tail still, calm.
They usually pee with their tail up. Female cats can also spray to mark territory as males do.
I've had six dogs, and I find that if the the dog's back is arched upwards when they are standing it means they are either bloated, sick, or about to puke. Standing straight up panting is in pleasure, (with ears up). Standing up straight with slowly wagging or not moving tail with ears up, is looking with interest (when they are curious). Tail between the legs is scared (with ears back.) Ears back while standing up straight is when they feel threatened (w/ tail up, not moving), also barking or growling is an obvious sign. Tail between the legs with ears back, and constant recoiling is feeling nervousness and scared. If a dog is laying down on its side with its stomach exposed is when they are being submissive (and/or rolling on their back).
A cats body langue is actullay very simplie . the cat has to places it can be seen on its ears and its tail Happy-Tail waving ears still Mad-Tail staightup ears flattend Attentive-Tail down ears up
The reason is because short tail cats have both genes of a no tail cat and a genes of a long tail cat. Lets say that a long tail gene is called gene A, and a no tail gene is called gene B. if both cats have short tails that means both cats have both genes A and B equally. so there is a 50-50 chance that each cat gives either gene to the baby This means the possible combinations are that one cat gives the baby an A and the other a B, remember that this possibility comes up twice since it doesn't matter which cat gives the A or the B. The other possibilities are that both cats give the kitten an A, or both cats give the kitten a B. That leaves AB(short tail), BA(short tail), AA(long tail), BB(no tail) so 25% for no tail, 25% for long tail, and 50% for short tail.
yes they do it is their equivalent of a cats hair standing up when they are nervous
you have a really messed up enemy.

The same thing it means when you do it.
If you only see cats with their tails standing up, that is a good sign because it generally indicates a confident and well adjusted animal. A fearful or aggressive cat will hold its tail down, and may lash it from side to side.

I never seen one do so,, but i dont think they do.
When cats tails are up that means they're happy. I know because I have one.
Cats move their tails in different ways. They cant talk, but their tail can tell how they feel. When a cats' tail is sticking straight up, they are saying a friendly "hello" (happy to see you). A relaxed cat curves his/her tail in a U-Shape. A wagging tail tells you the cat is unhappy. A tail thumping to the ground means the cat is going to attack. A twitchy tail means the cat is ready to pounce. Cats sweep their tail side to side if they are feeling excited or aggressive.
