In the 1920s Benito Mussolini took power over Italy and ruled the country single-handedly. Soon after, Adolf Hitler took control of a brutal dictatorship in Germany. And in Spain, Francisco Franco created another dictatorship. These men were known as fascists leaders who control their country through strict discipline and terror.
