I don't like the sounds of that...! Do you get it if you do something strenuous? Have shortness of breath, and break out in a sweat with it? If so, this sounds like heart-pain, otherwise known as angina. If you get it only with eating, I'm not really sure what it could be. Nerves that go to the diaphragm (just below the lungs and on top of the stomach) and have branches that go to the shoulder, and irritation of the left diaphragm will cause left shoulder pain, and maybe left neck pain. If you were a member of my family, I'd want you to see your doctor/PA/NP and get checked out...
Sometimes acid reflux can affect your back in this way. This feels a lot like heartburn, but depending on how bad it is can also create discomfort for other areas. I often had this problem - although the part of my body that would hurt sometimes varied. Acid suppressents such as Gaviscon help a lot with these - as well as avoiding particularly acidic food. Fruit smoothies, coffee and spicey chicken were all obvious caused for me. Often I have been told to chew slower and relax whilst eating as this avoids indigestion problems as well as possible acid reflux. It's worth checking out!
