Headlights that serve as a high and low beam have two different filiments in them. The low beam filiment is most likely burnt out. Time to replace it.
that means you need to change the headlight on the left side because it went out....i had the same problem with another car.........
9005 high beam and 9006 low beam.
There is a bad ground in your headlight wiring i had the exact same problem with my 98 cavalier. Not sure which ground it is because there is a few of them.

00 cavalier headlight have dual filliment bulbs so one of the 2 can be burnt without affecting the other or it an electrical problem, either fuse, wire, connector or relay.
NO. the 99, 00, and 01 lhs have 3 bulbs in the headlight, a blinker, high beam and low beam. The Concorde 02,03, & 04 will interchange/work. The 2000 Concorde has only 2 bulbs (high and low beam)...
Remove the entire head lamp assembly
Bad bulb? Bad socket? Bad wiring to socket?
TRY CHECKING TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHT OUT. tHIS WILL CAUSE THE PROBLEM YOU HAVE.
