a tps, throttle position sensor can, a egr valve/sensore/egr valve boost sensor=many would argue that the egr valve would not but if its stuck open it may flood the engine with exaust gas and if its closed it may not get good gas fuel ratio, you may be able to jus clean it with carb cleaner, it does more then just help keep the enviroment clean, a bad IAC, throttle body clogging shut from carbon build up. A Vaccum hose leak, clogged fuel filter, bad spark plugs, go get and eletronic engine diagnostic test done first and then work from there.
will the transmission causes my 1999 ford expedition to bog down & sputter when accelerating the 4.6liter engine.
Lack of propulsion.
Cylinder miss.
Slow engine RPM is the main reason a car may be sluggish while accelerating. However, it also could be due to the oil.
There could be several reasons why a car would sputter and shut off. The car might be out of gas, dead battery, bad starter, alternator problems or other issues. It is best to have it checked out by a licensed mechanic.
There are many issues that can make a car sputter when accelerating. For instance, the sparks plugs may need to be replaced. Another issue could be that the exhaust could be clogged or there could be a bad injector.
Bad speed sensors can cause the car to hesitate when accelerating at speeds below 20 mph. The blockage of the air filters can also cause the car to hesitate when accelerating at speeds below 20 mph.
could be a bad plug
seaweed is
bad wheel bearings
Clogged fuel filter.
sounds like a cv joint
