Getting pain in top of left arm only Hurts to lift my arm up can just touch head with fingers. Below elbow is completely fine can move without any pain Something is affecting your deltoid muscle. It could be an injury or strain, could be a bone spur or growth, could also be a nerve anywhere from the arm to the backbone (central nervous system). If it has been constant or getting worse for longer than a couple of weeks, get it checked out and find out for sure.

∙ 15y agoIt may be angina. Moderate amounts of regular exercise is good for the condition. It would be wise to see a doctor, just to be sure it's nothing more serious.
