For no apparent reason it is possible for the cat to abort pregnancy before term.

Here's what happened to my cat today.

She's wery joung cat and it was her first time being pregnant.

She just started to bleed in the morning, around 9.

Only few drops of blood in like 15 minutes.

At first it was lighter and more transparent, but it got darker, more blood like in a while.

At 10 it looked like she was going into labor, but after half an hour or so labor like behavior stopped.

At 1 in the afternoon, drops of blood were still here and it seemed to me that she might go to labor again.

The minute i made that observation the kitten was out, just like that!

A stillborn, and the other, 15 minutes latter, stillborn too.

These two had no fur at all. They looked like they had to be inside a while more.

The cat wass licking them and all.

She seemed to be OK.

Poor thing had taken them to the box.

At half past 3 in the afternoon, cat looked a bit tiered.

She had no contractions since 2nd dead kitten she was still fat so i knew not all the kittens are out.

As vet wasn't available before half past 4 we had to wait.

She has to see vet. She needs a drip so she can expel the rest of the kittens.

It was now sure that all of them will be dead.

If she's lucky they will not have to cut her to take them out.

There are more inside, we are leaving the house to see the vet.

I'll write more when we come back. So, we went to vet. She said that it might be that the rest of the kittens will be OK, and that we should wait until tomorrow. If all passes well she might keep pregnancy. There are at least two if not three kittens left. We did ultrasound, but no Röntgen (apparently no Röntgen device in 20 miles is functional, but all vets have it or say they have it. We passed trough three vet clinics, but nope, none of them works...) so we can not be sure how many of them are left, but for those we saw we know they are alive cause hart was beating. I should say that the cat has kept her appetite and is eating from time to time trough the day. She did not touch the water and ill try to make her drink some. Night has passed OK.

Cat had some bleeding this morning, few drops around 7.

11... she's sleeping, temperature is around 37.6°C which is a bit too low for a cat, but it s better than it is too high. This could mean that she'll expel the rest of the litter latter in the day, or that she needs to sleep and recover, but it definitely means that there's no infection.

You seem to have acted in a very useful and correct way. A Vet visit was a must.

It is not so good to take an X Ray (Röntgen) and expose the kittens to the radiation. Ultrasound should be more revealing unlesss there is an obstruction caused by a dead kitten.

The low temperature may be related with dehydration and loss of blood, try to keep her drinking some milk and fluids, a Vet may provide you some Rehydrate or similar re hydration compound. Some water with honey could also help. If the cat doesn't tolerate milk you could boil some fish and give her the water of it after cooling to room temperature. Liver cooked and minced could help her to gain energy, or plain unflavored yogurt

Keep her in warm environment of course.

The stillborn kittens could be due to sub-nutrition or dehydration of the mother, or due to physical trauma.

The ultrasound or a Doppler should reveal if other kittens are alive. Keep if possible controlling by ultrasound each 6 hours. A normal labor takes about 6-7 hours, beyond that, there must be a control done.

Your cat may have any number of disorders that you should seek veterinarian treatment for; but in most cases small amounts of blood tinged mucus in loose stool may be indicative of intestinal parasites (usually tape worm) that require prescription medication to eradicate. You may also be able to take a sample of the stool to your vet to determine for parasites and need for additional treatment with antibiotics along with an antiparasitic. Intestinal parasites CANNOT be eradicated with over the counter medications. And in all cases of your pet's health a professional should be consulted to ensure that appropriate treatment/interventions are taken.

A kitten should NEVER poop blood. Ever.

Take it to the vet immediately.

It could be internal bleeding, a torn muscle in the anus, an ulcer...

Their feces is very hard to get out.

So it causes great pain to the kitten, hence the bleeding.

This is always a sign of some fairly serious problem, often colorectal cancer. Please take your cat to the vet for an examination.

If your cat is bleeding, it was probably injured. If you cannot apply adequate first aid, you should take it to a veterinarian.
