Gallbladder stones usually do no produce any pain or symptoms until they are about 8mm in diameter. When they exceed this size, following symptoms are produced:
Pancreatitis (the inflammation of the pancreas) is the most common cause for pancreatic pain. Pain can range from mild to severe and generally presents in the center or left side of the upper abdomen. The abdomen may also become distended (swollen) and tender to the touch. Laying on one's back tends to cause the pain to become more intense.
It starts out feeling like heart burn. Then may gradually get worse and other times it's head on. When I have a flare up I feel it between my breast bone and it radiates to my upper back. There is no position that eases the pain. You will feel nauseated and feverish. The pain is unbearable and you feel like your dying. The only thing I've found that eases the pain is soaking in a very hot bath. When it get's this bad get to a hospital. I almost waited to late. It was causing my organs to shut down.
It could mean that it may be inflamed, go to your dr if untreated then you may suffer pancreatitis or many other health problems, could also be an indication of gallstones.

I have type one and i got it from ( not eating sweets ) but pancreas problems. My pancreas doesn't work. I can't get rid of my type one. I am 9 right now i was diagnosed when i was 4 i have had it a long time. Its a pain. So it causes from pancreas problems. Basically your pancreas died. You can't fix this problem.

This may be a case of pancreatitis or swollen pancreas. Does the pain in the bottom left side get worse when you push on the pancreas? (Upper right/middle quadrant) Do not drink alcohol or take drugs.
