The circuit is shorted. ie. the positive side is directly connected to the negative (ground). If the fuze didn't blow, it would heat up and possibly start a fire.
When you were replacing the cd player you might have sparked a wire causing the dash light fuse to blow. Check the gas light fuse in the fuse box.
The dash lights and the tail lights are on the same fuse. In all probability, you have a short circuit in the tail light wiring.
if it is an after market deck you must have the dash wires not hooked up behind the deck, and for the fuse replace it....
Tail light fuse is blown. It also feeds the 5 amp dash light fuse. Also check for shorts causing the fuse to blow including the license plate light.
Tail light assembly short
not sure not sure
Probably blew the tail light fuse. It also feeds the five amp dash light fuse also.
What would cause your fuse to blow when you turn on your lights on your 1993 mazda 323 the fuse to the tail lights on dash lights blow?
The dash light fuse gets its power from the tail light fuse. If the tail light fuse blows, you won't have any dash lights either.
You have an electrical short somewhere.
Guessing bad headlamp switch. No power to taillight fuse feeds dash fuse also. Need to glance at wiring diagram to troubleshoot fast.
Hi if the fuse is to small it will blow or the light will not come on , if you use a bigger fuse you rum the chance of over heating the light switch and causing your wiring to melt.
