Check the hazard light switch. This switch cuts the power to the indicators when in use. If the switch has failed it will cause an open circuit in the indicator circuit.
Then you must repair them. Advice as to repair needs further information but check fuses and bulbs.

If that is the ONLY thing not working it is probably not the fuse although I would check fuses first. 3 locations for fuses on my 1998 E320 and read the legends carefully.
