White hair is caused by diminishing pigment in the hair fociles. It can also be caused by certain diseases.
Are you referring to white just growing, if so sometimes stress or a lot of pressure. Or if you mean someone being born with white hair most of the time it is because someone was born albino..... Hope my answer was helpful enough!!
