, I had the same question. Originally, you could use Verizon phones, but now they (App. Wireless) say they had allot of problems w/ that and no longer allow. So, your only option is to buy one full price....I lost my phone 1mo after renewing my plan & have had to use my old phone for the past yr because I can't afford to pay full price for a new one.
