It's called Distiling...
Crude oil is a micture of diffrent lengths of Hydrocarbons and they each boil at diffrent tempretures so the Crude Oil is put into a big tube (sort of) and then heated up and each set of hydrocarbons will boil at a different tempreture and will reach the top of the tub were it is then collected...

Brent crude oil is a "benchmark crude" oil agreed upon by various suppliers and traders of crude oil. Other crude oils are often priced based on the agreed upon benchmark crude which has a particular set of properties.
Which crude?
A crude oil refinery is a factory. The factory takes the crude oil, and turns it into useful products, like gasoline.
Crude oil is not "made". "Crude oil" is the name giving to the raw form of oil that is pumped from the ground.
Crude oil is heated at about 350 degrees
Crude oil is inorganic.
Crude oil is a complex mixture of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. It does not dissolve in water unless you add a detergent to break down and encapsulate the oil.
Crude oil is a complex mixture of a great many different chemicals.
Crude oil contain compounds of O, C, H, N and not chemical elements.
All the processes involved in the refining of crude oil are chemical processes; this is the field of petrochemistry.
Crude oil is distilled, producing different fractions at different temperatures.
"Cat cracking" is the process used to break crude oil down into gasoline, kerosene, adn fuel oils.
There are many reasons why NYMEX crude oil goes up and down in prices. This includes the level of production from crude oil suppliers as well as world events and government policy.
There is not a "cut and dry" answer to this as the boiling of crude oil is a process. Heated to about 500 C the covalent carbon-carbon bonds begin to break during the "cracking process" - or breaking down of large molecules of heavy heating oil. computer says 500 oC
The chemical constituents of crude oil all have different boiling points, which allows them to be separated by means of fractional distillation.
Crude Oil is a mixture of thousands of compounds of hydrocarbons.
Demulsifier is type of chemical mostly used with or injected on wet crude oil,
