Try cellulose thinners (carried by aero modelling shops and some hardware stores) applied with kitchen towel or clean soft cloth (mutton cloth) / old rag wear rubber gloves and use in well ventilated area and away from any source of ignition. The stuff smells great, but then any substance/chemical that smells good is invariably hazardous to health
It is a chemical change. It keeps its same chemical composition and is in a reversible state. You can remelt it and once again, make glass.
Physical change because before and after breaking a glass, the glass is still SiO2 (Silicon): it's chemical makeup is not changed by the breakage.
Yup! I used to write on mirrors and windows all the time!
a substance because glass needs a chemical reaction
Because a glass of cordial contains far more than one chemical.
If you drew on the banana skin recently, just peel it off but don't eat the banana. For safety reason, watch the pulp using a magnifying glass for any permanent marker sign. Afterwards, throw the banana away, even you didn't notice any sign of the permanent marker, which contains dangerous substances.
Try the brand, Slick Writers. It's known for not smudging on paper, including photos, stickers, ribbon, vellum, metal and glass. See the 'Related Links' below for a link to purchase Slick Writers.
no they are not permanent on glass,i know this because i just tried it.
marker on glassAcetone, aerosol hairspray, or a razorbladeAnswerNail polish remover is another thing you could use. Also, try marking over it with a dry erase marker (like Expo). While the ink is still wet, wipe it off with a tissue.
the chemical formula of glass is H2o+world education time hhahahah
No breaking glass is not a chemical reaction, which is what i think you mean. Breaking the glass does not alter the chemical makeup or properties of the glass. Instead breaking glass is a physical reaction because it does alter the size of the glass and its appearance
Common glass is a silicate.
There is none. Glass is a mixture, not a pure substance and so does not have a chemical formula.
No. Glass is a mixture of chemical components.
It is a chemical change. It keeps its same chemical composition and is in a reversible state. You can remelt it and once again, make glass.
yes it can
that depends. changing the shape of glass is physical but if its a glass that can be effected by heat then if can be chemical. i would say its both.
