I can only speak from experience at the doors with different groups.

It's rather hard to know which groups don't believe God's name is Jehovah. They don't go from house-to-house, so we can't ask them. When we go to their house, they've been programmed not to speak with us; as if we're the plague. LOL

Many will argue at the doors that Jehovah is not really his name. They say that's not how you pronounce it, and they make a big deal about it.

But the original King James Version in Psalm 83:18 is very clear of the English pronunciation. Likewise with a number of other translations.

Others try to convince us that Yahweh is closer to the accurate pronunciation; but that's like teaching us to speak Hebrew. We don't speak Hebrew over here in USA. We don't say Jesus' name in Greek or Hebrew. Neither the other Bible names. We translate all the names into English, and of course they don't sound the same as in Hebrew. Yet they insist on making a fuss about it.

But more than not, we find that most people actually 'despise' the name Jehovah. They say it in a derogatory way. Most people never use God's personal name in their prayers when they speak to him - - if they pray to him at all.

We do know one thing - - they deny being Jehovah's Witnesses. That's a denial with some pretty serious implications.

Therefore it's quite an honor, when we arrive at their doors, and they say: "Oh, you're Jehovah's Witnesses (- - I'm not interested.)" I guess they don't realize what they're really saying. God's name is Jehovah. They call us His Witnesses. And they send us away. Does that make sense? I would think it's a pretty serious matter to actually recognize who Jehovah's Witnesses are, and then to send His Witnesses away. Doesn't sound too good to me.

What religion contrasts with the Mormon religion?

Many religions contrast with Mormonism. Mormons believe that there are three levels of heaven, when many other Christians believe there is only one. Mormons believe that people have the ability to become gods after death, when some other Christians believe that is blasphemous, making themselves above or equal to Jehovah. Some "fundamentalist" Mormon splinter groups believe that there are no limitations to the number of spouses one might have, when many other Christians believe that you can only have one.
