Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865, at Ford's theater, in Washington DC. He died the next day, on April 15, 1865, at approximately 7:22am, at the Petersen House, a Boarding House across the street from the theater.
Abe Lincoln's mother died of "milk sickness" caused from drinking the milk of a cow that has grazed on the poisonous white snakeroot. Nancy Lincoln died at the age of 34 when Abe was 9.
Lincoln was assassinated in Washington DC, the US Capital. He was attending a play at Ford's theater on Good Friday, 14 April 1865. He was killed by American actor John Wilkes Booth.
