Water from lakes and oceans evaporate into water vapor, which forms clouds. Inside the cloud the water vapor gets heavier and heavier(this is condensation) and finally the cloud releases the water, which is percipitation.
All the gas from rivers lake ponds go up in the sky to the cloud. And when the clouds get heavier it turns into water and rains, because the sea and the rain are going to clouds.
