Singers don't need to go to college. If you're looking into becoming a singer, you could choose one of the following to do: 1. Audition for American Idol. If you are really good, a record company may let you sign a contract with them (note that you must be 16 years or older to audition). 2. Record songs on a CD and send it to a certain person (I'm not sure who) and if they really like your voice then you could possibly become famous! I hope this information helps you.

Education is typically not a requirement for the entertainment industry. It wouldn't hurt, and a Classical Music education has helped many singers.

You won't find a any college specifically JUST for singing. If you search a collage's majors under Performing Arts you should see Voice or Voice and Opera there.
