A 7th grader's science project came to the conclusion that light-colored candles seem to burn the fastest, she hypothesized a white candle would burn the quickest, but had to amend her conclusion because in her experiment, the yellow candle was fastest burning.
6th grade experiment:
Prediction: white will burn slowest, black will burn fastest.
Results(fastest to slowest):Green, Purple, Blue, White, Black, Orange, Yellow, Red.
Notice the opposites on the color wheel are opposites on the list.
Note: The person won the science fair for their grade

A.The burning of a candle is spontaneous because it does not require continual input of energy. Sorry I take that comment back the candle is spontaneous.
