Rhodium is a member of the platinum group metals.It looks a lot like mercury and silver.It is very resistant to tarnish and corrosion.Rhodium is used in jewlry as an electroplate for white gold and silver.It is also used in catalitic converters,some ball point pens and electrical contacts.
