Labrador retrievers come in only 3 recognized colors, black, chocolate and yellow. Fox red, snow and silver are just color variation of yellow labrador Retrievers. For more information on the breed check the Akc site for the breed. http://www.akc.org/breeds/labrador_retriever/index.cfm

Yellow labs are the most popular Labrador Retrievers. Black Labs are very close in second place. And last, but not least, the Chocolate Labs are in third place. But they are all still very nice, friendly, loving dogs. Answer I watched Animal Planet on TV and they said that Black Labs were the most popular breed, followed by Yellow. Then Chocolate Labs were the rarest. However, I have seen more yellow labs then black labs around, but I don't know. Basically...

  1. Black
  2. Yellow
  3. Chocolate
There are other colors like "silver" and "white" but they are not official Labrador colors, they are just variations.

There are three recognized colors for Labradors - black, chocolate and yellow.

Black is self-explanatory, chocolate is a medium to dark brown and yellow can be any color from a very light cream, which is almost white, to a very deep golden color, which can have reddish tones.

I believe the most popular color labrador is black. The order goes: 1-Black 2-Yellow 3-Brown. Unless you mean litters, then I have no idea. But, in a litter you can have all three colors.

The most popular color is black. Usually black coated Labradors are show dogs. Yellow coats are often used for police work. Brown or chocolate is a rare color for the Labrador. And there is a small change in the color. Some Labrador mothers are giving birth to silver puppies. The silver Labs aren't registered in the AKC yet.
