What computer do you need for computer animation? |

You'd want a computer with a relatively fast processdor with multiple cores (2.7+ GHz Quad Core) and atleast 3 Gigabytes of ram. The most important part, however, is the graphics card. Namely, you'd want a workstation card, not a gaming card-- ATi's FireGL series and nVidia's Quadro FX series are great at rendering.
