Could be sinuses. Your sinus cavity is located up and behind your eyes. Try taking a sinus medication of the proper dosage and laying down in a darkened, quiet rrom with a cool cloth on your head until the pain passes. Works for me every time.
I would consider consulting a qualified doctor for that, but the most likely cause of that may be a migrane, or possibly something related to bad eyesight, since your eyes, nose, and ears are all inter-conected - I have experienced such pains and wearing reading glasses did help!
i had that also. for mine the doc said it was my iliotibial band that was causing the pain. its from the band rubbing against the joint the wrong way. best thing to do is daily stretches

A sharp pain on the right side of your head could result from multiple things. If you are not seeing properly, your eyes could be straining, thus causing your head to hurt. Also, there may be a more serious problem. If the pain persists, I would consider going to the doctor.
