I know that you can develop nasal polyps at the root of the nose. Nasal polyps are basically growths within the nose or even in the sinus cavities. They are usually non-cancerous but they can affect your lifestyle if they are big.
Often a person that has nasal polyps snores at night and can feel as if their nose and sinuses are congested. There can even be pain at the root of the nose and some people complain about a diminished sense of smell and taste. In severe cases the polyps can deform the shape of your nose and face.
I am aware of three possible treatments; corticosteroids (have to be prescribed by an ENT), a natural remedy found online (sinuswars13) and surgery. I would recommend that you visit an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat specialist) to have the bump correctly diagnosed.

∙ 9y agoBumps on the outside of the nose are usually acne. These could be painful red blemishes, whiteheads or blackheads that can be treated with Skin Care products to help keep the face and area around the nose clean.

∙ 10y agoYou most likely have a boil, ingrown nose hair or infected follicle. If it's a hair / follicle, you'll be able to see where the hair goes right into the center of the bump. If you can get it with a pair of tweezers, pull it.
If it's a boil, it'll just take time for it to go down.

∙ 9y agoA bump on the nose could be a pimple or a sebaceous cyst of some kind. It is important to have a doctor see it. Infections near the sinuses can be dangerous.
