Many things can cause a drop in blood pressure, the following is only a partial list: Anemia Approaching death Cancer Certain drug therapies: antihypertensives, narcotics, analgesics, diuretics Decreased arterial blood volume: hemorrhage Dehydration Infection & Fever Massive heart attack Middle pregnancy pain Starvation Shock Sudden posture changes such as standing Thyroid & adrenal gland disorders Nerve disorders Time of day: during sleep & early morning Weak heart
I have found, that in my case, my sudden collapse in blood pressure was due to an excessive dossage of the ACE inhibitor Benicar. As I reduced the dosage from 40 mg I had less severe episodes until finally at 5 mg there were no longer any symptoms at all. I made this determination with no help from my cardiologist. In fact he scolded me when I made the suggestion and, instead of support, he put me through numerous expensive heart tests with no success.
the ques. seems to be wrong because i think B.P. increases during excercise (blood circlation increases due to fast pumpingof heart) but if it is not so then it may be because the exercising dilates the bloodvessels hence free passage available to blood for circulation so B.P. falls down.
During exercise blood pressure will rise. However, if you exercise moderately on a regular basis your "resting blood pressure" may lower because you are improving your lifestyle.
I feel light-headed . . .kind of dizzy, and tired.

A balanced diet and regular exercise can reduce high blood pressure.
Blood pressure would decrease
Because when you exercise, your heart works harder to get blood to the muscles and when your're done, there is no need for the heart to beat fast.
Diastolic pressure remains constant or less than normal regardless of exercise intensity due to decreased peripheral resistance as increased metabolism will cause vasodilatation so decrease resistance due toABP = COP X Peripheral resistance
120 is an average that they use for a person's blood pressure immediately after exercise. 80 is the low that they use for rest heart rate when a person has not be recently exercising

Sugar. That helps to increase it. Not eating anything but healthy foods might decrease blood pressure by a bit.

Blood pressure would decrease
Yes your blood pressure will decrease for a couple of different reasons: The first is that your blood vessels have dilated to provide muscles with an increase in oxygenated blood and the surface (peripheral blood vessels) will dilate to increase the rate of heat loss from the body. Over a sustained period of exercise (months) the blood vessels will become more elastic, decreasing the pressure on the vessel walls and more importantly on the left ventricle of the heart. There will be a similar decrease in your resting heart rate. Overall your cardiovascular system will become "younger".
As the blood moves through the aorta, the friction of the walls of the aorta decreases velocity. This velocity decrease results in a decrease in pressure.
