It depends on what side of the abdomen. The right side has a kidney and appendix. The left side has another kidney and the gallbladder. Everything, except for the appendix, can create stones. Stones are very painful. In the middle of the abdomen are female parts and the bladder. Those parts are prone to infection, especially in women. Hope this helps.
