There are nine counties in Ulster. FAT DAD is an acronym taught in Irish schools to remember the six counties of Northern Ireland:
Fermanagh, Antrim, Tyrone, Derry, Armagh and Down. In addition there are three other counties of Ulster in the Republic of Ireland which are Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
