∙ 12y agoAdidas is not owned by a country, though is based in Germany and was founded there. Recently, has been buying American companies and laying everyone off from the east coast to the west coast. The NFL and NBA are sellouts to the German company which purchased Reebok a few years back. As a result, putting out many American companies and people out of business and work. American uniform, equipment, apparel, and accessory companies...ALL out of work. I'll go with Nike and Converse from this point on. I can't support a company that has no compassion for putting people out on the streets and ruining American lives.
