The United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, the U.S.S.R., and Japan. Germany wanted to expand and create living space for "pure" Germans. France and Great Britain tried appeasing to Hitler but they were brought into the war when Germany invaded Poland. Japan bombed the United States (at Pearl Harbor) when they refused to sell oil to Japan and the United States delcared war on Japan. Then, Hitler declared war on United States because a the dictators had an alliance.

∙ 7y agoJapan wanted to rule the Asian nations and obtain their natural resources. The Germans wanted to rule Europe, eliminate the Jews and get oil and other Natural Resources from the European nations. The US, the UK and other Allied Force nations wanted to defeat the Nazis and reestablish democracy and freedom for the European nations. Russia wanted revenge on Germany and to keep the nations they defeated for their own communist agendas. The Africans wanted the Germans off their continent. The Chinese wanted the Japanese to get out of there country and leave them alone. The United States, England, France, Spain, and even Germany. And France was actually involved for a whole four years.
