Tobacco was grow in Rhode Island because the climate was not very wet. The tobacco had been introduced by James Rolfe to Jamestown and all of the colonies except for the Carolinas and Georgia began growing it as a cash crop.

Apples, Onions, Flax, and Grapes.

There was a lot of lumber which was used for boards, planks, timber , and barrels.

They also grew Corn, Beans, and Squash.

They had big crops and were very easy to grow because of very fertile soil.

Trust me that this answer is right because I just did a whole project of the colony of Rhode Island!
