Make sure to wear shoes that allow plenty of air movement in the shoe... Main causes of athletes foot is closed in tight shoes, that cause your skin to pretty much suffocate and with the mixture of sweat athletes foot occurs.

If you have it now there are ointments you can apply overnight, but best natural way is to keep your foot breathing. Open footwear is great but it is still important not try dry your feel out too much as well

There are a couple remedies that could be used for athletes foot

1. Apple Cider and Vinegar- The smell may not be so good but if you soak your foot that has athletes foot in half cider vinegar and half water each night within a week symptoms will go away.

2. Baking Soda- if you put your feet/foot in this the properties of baking soda will allow the foot to stay cool and dry. Creating a paste of baking soda and water to rub on the foot then rinse it off each not can be extremely helpful.

3.Salt Water- Creating a mixture with salt and water will help create an unsavory breeding ground for the fungus making it go away, and also the salt will go into skin and cure perspiration so your chances of getting athletes foot is low.

4. You could always get the spray may sting a little bit, but you could buy it at a pharmacy.
