-Separate rations procedures:
a. The following Soldiers are authorized separate rations due to mission, travel or housing considerations:
(1) Soldiers living in off-post housing or government quarters (other than barracks) with individual kitchen facilities.
(2) Soldiers assigned to Battalion that are Military Police (31B).
(3) Soldiers assigned as drivers for the Battalion Commander or Battalion Command Sergeant Major.
(4) Soldiers who routinely perform duties at a location that does not have a dining facility or reasonable access to one.
b. When a Soldier is promoted to the rank of SFC, they are entitled to receive separate rations. However, the company must submit a DA Form 4187 to start separate rations.
c. All separate rations requests will be generated by the Company PAC.
d. The approval authority for the separate rations is the company commander. Once received, the battalion S-1 will forward separate ration requests to Finance.
