Hurricane Katrina was a Category 3 Hurricane at landfall so it devastated the entire city of New Orleans and caused destruction across the entire Mississippi coast. People were boating out of the city and stuck on the roofs of there homes. It caused $105 billion in damage and killed more than 1,800 people. Even though it happened 7 years ago, the people of New Orleans are still cleaning up after Hurricane Katrina.

Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of destruction it was a Category 3 hurricane with winds of 125mph and made land fall in Burastriuph, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina not only flooded with her own rain but brought the Gulf of Mexico into Louisiana because the levees broke. To make the answer short this hurricane is the most costliest hurricane, damage was at $81.2 Billion dollars. 1,836 people were confirmed dead.

No. Oklahoma is too far inland to get hurricanes. However it can get hurricane remnants, which can bring heavy rain and thunderstorms even though they have long since lost hurricane status.
