You cant take a pill to get pregnant ! Getting pregnant involves having un-protected sex !
If you are trying to get pregnant then you should not take the pill at all.
Yes, but if you have been taking the pill like prescribed, you probably aren't pregnant. make sure you are pregnant before stopping the pill otherwise you will be pregnant pdq
Your body secretes its own hormones once you become pregnant. Your pill consists basicly of hormones to prevent pregnancy. So you can see that by taking your pill while pregnant, you might very well disturb your baby's development and either terminate him or handicap him.
It would depend how long you have been on the pill before. If you have taken the pill for over 7 days then you are protected while you take the 'period gap'. If you have only just started taking the pill the chances are low but you still could become pregnant.
You need to specify what pill you are talking about.
the pill will stop you from getting pregnant but it wont stop you from getting a sexual disease - if you trust your partner then you dont need to use condoms while you are on the pill
"The pill" does not keep you from getting pregnant, it only reduces the probability of getting pregnant. While the probability is GREATLY reduced if you take the pill according to schedule, it is only slightly less effective if you miss one pill occasionally. But it is a higher risk. You have to decide on your level of acceptable risk.
Tylenol and Benendryl should have no affect on the pill. You can have unprotected sex any day of the month if you are on the pill, you are protected with the pill from pregnancy.
Yes you will become pregnant if you only take one pill. The only way to avoid pregnancy, is to take 1 birth control pill every day and take the pill at the same time everyday. You will also become pregnant if you have unprotected intercourse during your couple of weeks of starting birth control, because it does take a while for your body to adjust to the hormones. 1 pill will have no effect of protecting you against pregnancy. If you do not want to become pregnant, take your pills as directed, and do not skip pills. If you do accidently miss a pill, double up the next day, which means take the pill that you missed plus the one that you are supposed to take that day. Make sure you take the pills at the same time also.
