Famous to the non Bob Marley fans (if that's even possible) would be the songs that became commercially popular either via radio, TV or played in the clubs.

Songs such as: "Jamming" "No Woman, No Cry" "Could You Be Loved"

"Buffalo Soldier" "Stir It Up" "One Love/People Get Ready"

"I Shot the Sheriff" "Three Little Birds" "Waiting in Vain" "Redemption Song"

If you sing any of those songs to someone on the street, anywhere in the world, they will probably say that they've heard it.

To narrow it down to the "most famous song" you would have to survey "everyone" in the world. You cant just base it on what the industry says, (such as based on records sales, etc, because a person can still know a song without having bought the album. (my opinion).

Bob Marley's Music lives on through his own original recordings, as well as other artists who cover his music. So who knows, maybe more artist will yet cover his songs and promote them using social media etc, which could make them even more famous.

"My Music Will Go On Forever. Maybe It's A Fool Say That, But When Me Know Facts Me Can Say Facts. My Music Will Go On Forever ... - Bob Marley.
