He is an example of what happens if someone is never in physical contact with another person. (at least, no contact for a long time.)

He also broke a pact with the Soviet Union (communist Russia) and invaded. the fighting here was very vicious and communist prisoners were treated very poorly.
Also Hitler was on the completely other end of the scale, politically, from communism.
