We do not know for sure-but this is what we do know: he was not particularly good-looking ( Isaiah 53:2 'He had no form nor comeliness and when we shall see Him,there is no beauty that we should desire Him ).

It is most unlikely that he looked like he is portrayed in most movies.

According to Isaiah 53:2, which Christians accept as a reference to Jesus Christ: "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." In other words, He had no particular attractiveness in His human form. No one was drawn to Him for His looks. The New Testament does not address Jesus' physical appearance, until the book of Revelation. In Revelation 1:12-16, John describes the glorified Jesus this way: And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. ".......according to the Gospel of Matthew, when Jesus was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane before the Crucifixion, Judas Iscariot had to indicate to the soldiers whom Jesus was because they could not tell him apart from his disciples. Further clouding the question of what Jesus looked like is the simple fact that nowhere in the New Testament is Jesus described, nor have any drawings of him ever been uncovered. There is the additional problem of having neither a skeleton nor other bodily remains to probe for DNA. In the absence of evidence, our images of Jesus have been left to the imagination of artists. An answer has emerged from an exciting new field of science: forensic anthropology. Using methods similar to those police have developed to solve crimes, British scientists, assisted by Israeli archeologists, have re-created what they believe is the most accurate image (above) of the most famous face in human history. No mention is made in the Gospel record of Jesus' appearance either by His followers or by His opponents. So any attempt to reconstruct Him is only idle speculation and in any case is unimportant else it would have been mentioned. His real work of salvation was important and that is certainly mentioned along with the fact that He rose from the dead.

Given the fact that He was Jewish, He undoubtedly had Jewish features and skin color.

Any attempts to reconstruct His appearance cannot be regarded seriously however, as unlike forensics which deal with real evidence, which can be checked scientifically, there is no way any details of Jesus appearance could verifiably be known. Any attempt to do so would be nothing except pure speculation as are the many artistic expressions of Him over the years, some coincidentally closer to the mark than others. Jesus is not available for such methods to test Him as He ascended into heaven. The three 'representative skulls' from the Jerusalem area ignore the fact that firstly, Jesus was of Galilean origin on the maternal side, and secondly, it ignores the possible range of variation within a population.

The scientific attempts to reconstruct Jesus' appearance can only tell us the possible physical appearance of the three persons sampled, and although these may be representative of a total population (they may also not be), this can only give a general picture anyway. Assuming it does give an accurate general picture, this can prove nothing specific about Jesus. His 'lack of difference' in the Garden of Gethsemane can be accounted for by the facts that it was dark and that the soldiers also would not have known Him personally.

So, quite clearly, apart from the Revelation reference which was of the glorified Christ, we cannot know exactly what He looked like. Rev.1[15] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

They probably don't.

However, he was a Jew, so a Middle Eastern man. Dark, probably dark skin, hair and eyes.

The Bible does tell us in Isaiah that he wasn't anything spectacular to look at.

He probably looked like the average Jewish man during that time period.

However, in Revelations it talks about Jesus in heaven appearing completely differently. That is his heavenly form, not his earthly body.

I believe it talks about his eyes being like fire and his hair being blazing white...

Because not one who allegedly saw Jesus ever recorded the event. Not one of the mostly anonymous authors of books in the New Testament ever walked with Jesus and only relied on hearsay, anecdotes about Jesus.

cause we worut alive back then and their are no pick of him that i know of by sin16 Nobody knows what Jesus looked like because only important people could write in those days and the didn't consider this issue to be important. Word has been passed on by generations ago but many were likely to change the idea of his appearance and make Jesus a worthy, handsome man. This is unlikely since he was brought up by a poor family, and lived through many difficulties. There are very many probabillities of what his appearance may have been.

If there is a description of what Jesus looked like, it would be in the gospels. However, scholars now tell us that none of the gospel authors actually met Jesus or even an eyewitness to the life of Jesus, so none of the gospel authors could tell us what he looked like. As a Palestinian Jew, he would have been dark skinned, with black hair and brown eyes, but medieval art tended to portray him as more European in appearance.

Nobody knows what he looks like. People says that his skin tone is Middle-Eastern color which is true. They guess that long ago, men never shaved, so that explains the beard and mustaches.

What made Jesus real man?

Jesus was real like God is real, but he was human. He had flesh and bone and blood like us, and you could see him, touch him, feel him. God is just as real as Jesus, but he's more of a spirit, and no one living has ever seen him, so no one knows what he looks like.
