What did Macbeth answer when the witches said to him 'Macbeth Macbeth Macbeth'?

Answer:
The witches never said "Macbeth, Macbeth, Macbeth"
Act I, Sc II they said
"All hail, Macbeth! hail to thee, Thane of Glamis" (He is currently Thane of Glamis)
"All hail, Macbeth! hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor" (He will be given the title of Thane of Cawdor soon)
"All hail, Macbeth! hail to that shalt be King hereafter." (He will be the next King.)

Macbeth is confused by this. He asks them to stay, and explain how these things will come to pass. They vanish, and he takes it upon himself (After he is given the title of Cawdor) to decide that he should kill Duncan, to become King.
