Malcolm X, (May 19, 1925 ? February 21, 1965), born Malcolm Little, also known as Detroit Red, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, and Omowale, was a Muslim Minister and National Spokesman for the Nation of Islam. He was also founder of the Muslim Mosque, Inc. and the Organization of Afro-American Unity.
During his life, Malcolm went from being a young street-wise Boston hoodlum to become one of the most prominent black nationalist leaders in the United States, and when murdered became considered by some as a martyr of Islam, and a champion of equality. As a militant leader, Malcolm X advocated black pride, economic self-reliance, and identity politics. He ultimately rose to become a world renowned African American/Pan-Africanist and human rights activist.
Malcolm X was assassinated in New York City on February 21, 1965 on the first day of National Brotherhood Week.
Malcom X was born on May 19th 1925 and was also known as El-Hajj Malik Shabazz. He was born in Omaha Nebraska and his Father was a bapitist preist. He had 3 kids thier names were: Ella, Mary, and Earl Jr.
