He engineered and designed the VW Type 1,which is known as the VW Beetle and the VW Type 2,which is the VW Caravelle/Combi/minibus.As seen in The Beatles where the engine is located at the back,later Ferdinand couldn't find a right sportscar for him,so he made one,based on his creation,the Beatle,and so is the Porsche sportscars were made.The original Porsche brand is a 2 door sportscar maker but now it starts to make a 4 door SUV (Porsche Cayenne) and a 4 door grand tourer (Porsche Panamera).
