What did the French achieve from the French revolution?

Answer:
France, who was controlled by England at the time, was searching for independence. They did not like being ruled by a king, much less a non-democratic government. The Treaty of Versailles was the final blow to the nation and the French government began making weapons in secret as they staged a coup on the English reign. The French people marched into England in 1848 to a very surprised and under-prepared country. Within days, the "French Revolution" was over as England surrendered.
