I see it as a playful ending to a playful movie. A gardener who apparently is just a simple man, gets mistaken by the public and media for some kind of great thinker or guru, but then at the end he walks out onto a lake, seemingly performing a biblical-type miracle; the movie tells us that things can always turn out to be different from what they seem, and sometimes there are multiple layers of mysteries.

∙ 11y agoThat there is more to us then just "us". Our past and present makes us who we are. Sometimes we have to live through out the worst of things to figure out who we are, when we do figure it out we may not like what we find. It also reflects, on how there are the two paths we can take in life. One is to be ignorant and safe, or to have knowledge and suffer the consequences. Ultimately, it is what, you decide on your own fate.
