And they would build their own homes and make their own food and what they wanted cause no one was their to tell them what to do because of the stupid girls who ruled England named Sinead and Bridget cause they are just stupid people who need to get a life and grow up cause they hated them and the queens dicided to be mean, obnoxiuos people who were just soo rude at the table where they ate and distrebed everyones breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day for the rest of the year and then they had to be dethroned cause they were so snobby that the kingdom hated them both so they left!!!!!!!!!!!!! the end!! :) thanks for reading!!! :) ;)

∙ 13y agoThe purpose of the Mayflower Compact was to get everybody (every free man that is) to sign and agree to follow the elected governor and all the laws and ordinances they made. This was needed because only half the passengers on the Mayflower were religious separatists, while many of the others decided that since they were landing in New England and not Virginia where they planned, they could do as they pleased. To avoid anarchy, they wrote the Mayflower Compact so that everybody agreed to not just go off on their own.
